The bolt tightening revolution: eClick.

The best of both worlds! Precision you can feel: STAHLWILLE eClick torque tools combine precise electronic measurement with an easily detectable 'click'. For maximum control – in any dimension.

One technology. Many benefits.

Perfect feedback.

  • In addition to digital displays, the mechanical click provides noticeable and audible feedback – perfect when working overhead and in loud or bright working environments
  • Real-time display of the torque actually applied
  • Additional evaluation of the bolt tightening on the display (traffic light colors) and via LEDs on the side

Efficient precision.

  • Pre-programmable bolted joints, complete sequence plans, and digital data acquisition reduce set-up times and accelerate assembly processes
  • Correct measurement of the torque even if the grip position is incorrect (model-dependent)
  • The digital input ensures there are no parallax errors and no inaccuracies
  • Automatic recalculation of the adjusted clicking value if a different extension length is used
STAHLWILLE MANOSKOP® 730D eClick provides precise torque measurement in an industrial production environment

Legally admissible documentation

  • Saves the tightening torques actually achieved
  • Easy data transfer to the PC via cable or wireless connection
  • Convenient processing of data in STAHLWILLE software solution
  • Reliable documentation to protect against recourse or complaints

Typical sources of error when using torque tools

In practice, deviations are rarely due to the tool itself but to errors in operation or processes. In these short videos, we demonstrate the most common causes – and how eClick reduces them.

Continued load after the click

Tightening again will increase the load on the bolted connection.

No correction of extension length, or correction calculated incorrectly

Insert tools of different lengths will alter the force loading point – without correction, the torque will be incorrect.

Watch video

Inadequate documentation

Manual notes are prone to errors, with the risk of reduced traceability.

Watch video

Spring not released after use

If the spring remains tensioned, this may affect accuracy.

Watch video

Incorrect force application point

An incorrect grip position alters the force loading point – the actual torque will change.

Watch video

Torque set incorrectly

Hard-to-read (or analog) scales and incorrect viewing angles (parallax error) lead to incorrect settings.

    From theory to real-life

Want to experience the most common sources of error for yourself? In our free webinar, we use real-life examples to show you how these arise and how modern torque technology helps to make bolt tightening more reliable and more reproducible.

More than just a technology upgrade

Purely mechanical technology belongs to the past. In modern manufacturing, what counts is traceability, process reliability, and efficiency – and this is exactly where digital torque tools set new standards. But what does this mean in practice for your production process? In this free white paper, you'll learn:

    • The genuine benefits of using electromechanical tools
    • Why businesses have long relied on eClick
    • Making the switch? The technical and organizational factors you need to know
    • How to eliminate error sources and measurably improve your processes

No secret: the technology behind it

With the eClick torque wrench, the applied torque is continuously electronically monitored. Once the target value is reached, a solenoid activates the mechanism and releases the stop lever. This produces an easily perceptible and audible click – combined with a digital display and bolted joint evaluation.

      Video

On the eClick torque screwdriver, a solenoid activates the ball-bearing mechanism. The integrated slipping clutch generates the characteristic click feedback and prevents unwanted continued load from being applied after the target torque is reached. At the same time, the torque is digitally recorded and can be saved for documentation and quality assurance purposes.

        Success story

To see how electromechanical torque technology works in practice, we only need to take a look at real production environments. Real-life examples of the technology in use show how eClick contributes to greater process reliability, more efficient processes, and a noticeable reduction in the day-to-day workload.

        More power, less effort.

If you need to apply a very high torque to a bolted joint, you can use a cumbersome torque wrench with a very long lever or a high-torque tool. Or use the rules of physics with the MULTIPOWER torque multiplier from STAHLWILLE. The MULTIPOWER MP300 torque multiplier saves you time and effort. When attached to your STAHLWILLE torque wrench, it multiplies your torque input. So you don't need an additional torque wrench to apply even the highest torques.
