STAHLWILLE Tool Experts ist zu Gast bei den 

 – einer der angesagtesten Customize-Werkstätten für Motorräder in den Niederlanden. Joost Dingemans und Take Menick haben ihren Traum verwirklicht, in einer alten Industriehalle in der Nähe von Utrecht. Hier erleben nicht nur totgeglaubte Klassiker ihre technische und optische Renaissance – auch aktuelle Bikes, wie die Royal Enfield Himalayan, werden hier optimiert. Immer mit dem Wunsch des Kunden, absolute Unikate zu schaffen und sich vom Mainstream abzuheben. Die dafür notwendige Kreativität spiegelt sich überall in der Werkstatt wider. So ranken zum Beispiel aus alten, aufgeschnittenen Motorradtanks Blumen und Efeu.

Durch den hohen Grad an Individualisierung sind die Anforderungen an Joost und Take hoch. Ganz gleich ob Umbauten zum Café Racer, Scrambler oder Flat Tracker, ob rein optische Maßnahmen oder Motoroptimierungen. Die Bandbreite an Aufgaben und den ganz unterschiedlichen Motorrädern erfordert extrem viel Know-How und Liebe zur Perfektion.

„Die wenigsten Bikes sind fabrik-neu“ sagt Joost, als er erklärt, warum ihre Werkzeuge auch besonderen Anforderungen standhalten müssen. Viele der Schätze sind schon älter, die Schrauben rostig und schwergängig. Zudem müssen sie bei ihren Zweirädern auf kleinstem Raum arbeiten – mit großer Kraft und aus schwierigen Winkeln. Damit war beiden schon früh klar, dass man in Sachen Werkzeug auf STAHLWILLE als Partner setzen würde. "Very few of the bikes we get are brand-new," says Joost as he explains why their tools have to meet special requirements. Many of the gems they work on are older, the screws rusty and seized. They also have to work on their two-wheelers in the most awkward places – applying considerable force from difficult angles. It was clear to both early on that they would want to rely on STAHLWILLE as their partner when it came to tools. „Naprawdę niewiele motocykli, które ludzie do nas przyprowadzają, to nowe maszyny”, mówi Joost, wyjaśniając, dlaczego narzędzia muszą spełniać specjalne wymagania. Wiele klejnotów, nad którymi pracują, to starsze motocykle, a ich śruby są często zardzewiałe i uszkodzone. Musieli też pracować na dwukołowych maszynach w najtrudniejszych miejscach, oraz stosując znaczną siłę, pracując pod niewygodnymi kątami.
