Measures without shifting the point of application of force
By means of a special force transmission system, the mechanical calibration system No. 7792 prevents the point of force application from shifting during the calibration process
The lever mounted below the test rail is moved linearly by a spindle and is driven by the handwheel
The linear motion is transformed into a rotational motion which influences the transducer
The torque wrench to be calibrated remains in its position throughout the calibration
This prevents measurement errors resulting from a shift in the point of force application
The torque wrench is automatically aligned horizontally by means of a low-friction ball bushing
An additional ball bushing ensures friction-free positioning of the torque wrench
The resulting reduction in the transverse forces on the transducer and the friction on the torque wrench assembly reduces measurement errors
