STAHLWILLE Eduard Wille GmbH & Co KG, Lindenallee 27, 42349 Wuppertal, Germany, hereinafter referred to as "STAHLWILLE", is the organiser of the "Advent Calendar competition 2024" and will draw the following prizes in the course of the competition from 04.11.2024, 16:00 hrs. to 18.11.2024, 23:59 hrs. By participating in the competition, the user agrees to the following conditions of participation. Participation is subject exclusively to these competition rules.

This competition has not been initiated by Meta and is not supported, sponsored or co-organised by Meta. For this reason, Meta is not responsible for any matters relating to this competition or the terms and conditions of participation.

What can you win?

By participating in the social media "Advent Calendar competition 2024", participants have the opportunity to win a STAHLWILLE Advent Calendar. These will be sent out after the end of the participation period and after the address details have been sent. The object displayed as a prize in connection with the competition is not necessarily identical to the object actually won. There may be deviations with regard to model, colour or other details.

How can you win?

Participation in the competition, which is advertised via an Instagram post on the stahlwilletoolexperts page and a Facebook post on the STAHLWILLE Facebook channel, presupposes the individual has followed the participation procedure described in the respective competition post (Newsletter registration) within the respective participation period. Participation in the competition is possible irrespective of the purchase of any goods or services. Placing an order does not increase the chance of winning.

Who can participate?

Participation is free of charge and permitted to any natural person who has come of age. Participation requires truthful provision of the data relevant to participation. Competition clubs and automated competition services are not eligible to participate. Please participate only once. Multiple registrations do not increase the chance of winning, as they are filtered and blocked from the draw.

Who is excluded from participation?

STAHLWILLE reserves the right to exclude individual persons from participation subsequently if there are legitimate reasons, such as a violation of these competition rules, double or multiple entries, manipulation or attempts at manipulation, etc., and reserves the right to take legal action. Employees of STAHLWILLE and participating companies and their relatives are not permitted to take part in this competition. The judges' decision is final.

How are the winners selected?

The winners will be determined from among the participants of the competition who have fulfilled the entry procedure (e.g. commenting on/liking the post, following the channel etc. depending on the instructions) and have declared their participation within the competition period and are entitled to participate. The winners will be determined within three working days of the end of the participation period. Winners will be selected by a draw and notified by private message on Facebook and must provide their personal information for the prize to be awarded. Personal information provided by the winner will be treated in accordance with Section 10.

How do I get my winnings?

On notification of the award, the winners are requested to inform STAHLWILLE of their names and addresses to enable the award to be completed. The prize will be sent by STAHLWILLE or a third party commissioned by STAHLWILLE to the postal address specified by the winner by forwarding agent, parcel service or post. Delivery is free to addresses on the European mainland, i.e. at the expense of STAHLWILLE. Any additional transport costs and customs duties shall be borne by the winner. The place of performance shall in all cases remain the registered office of STAHLWILLE even though STAHLWILLE has paid the postage.

What happens if I don't contact you after being notified of a win?

If a winner does not contact STAHLWILLE within three working days of being notified of a prize, the prize will be forfeited. In this case, a different winner will be drawn. In the event a prize notification cannot be delivered, STAHLWILLE shall not be obliged to carry out any further investigations but shall be entitled to draw a different winner for the prize.

Reservation clause

STAHLWILLE reserves the right to modify, interrupt or terminate the competition at any time without notice and without giving reasons. However, STAHLWILLE will only make use of this option if, as a result of force majeure, for technical or legal reasons, proper performance of the competition cannot be guaranteed. STAHLWILLE shall not be liable for losses, failures or delays caused by circumstances beyond that company's control. In justified cases, the prize may be replaced by an equivalent prize.

10.

Data protection

STAHLWILLE guarantees compliance with the applicable statutory provisions on data protection. In this context, reference is made to our Privacy Statement. STAHLWILLE is entitled to pass on personal data to third parties insofar as this is necessary for the execution of this competition or the transfer of prizes. STAHLWILLE shall collect, process and use the personal data provided by the participants exclusively for the purposes of this competition. The data collected for this purpose will be erased after the competition has been completed and, in particular, will not be used or passed on for marketing purposes.

The participant hereby expressly declares his/her consent to the collection, processing and use of the data provided for the aforementioned purpose. The participant may at any time withdraw consent for the use of his/her data in writing or by email to STAHLWILLE at socialmedia@stahlwille.de. In that case, the personal data will no longer be used to run the competition, but will be deleted immediately. The participant will then be excluded from the competition. This means that there will be no entitlement to a prize.

Winners may be published on STAHLWILLE websites or social media channels (such as LinkedIn, Facebook etc.) by name (but in abbreviated form: e.g. Max M.). The winner expressly agrees to this form of publication.

11.

Miscellaneous

Cash payment of the winnings is not possible. The right to a prize cannot be transferred, sold or assigned to other persons. The judges' decision is final.

Should any individual provisions of the competition rules be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining conditions shall remain unaffected. The parties agree in such a case to replace the offending provision with a new provision which reflects the intent of the offending provision the closest.
