The STAHLWILLE DAkkS calibration laboratory for torque measurements has been accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) in accordance with the standard DIN EN ISO / IEC 17025:2018. The transfer torque wrenches and torque measuring heads used in the laboratory are subject to regular inspection by the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) in Braunschweig. The accuracy of the torque wrenches must be verifiable and traceable over several steps. This is the only way to guarantee the reliability of the measured values. In the first step, the user checks the accuracy of their torque tools in-house with a suitable, calibrated test device. In the next step, this test equipment is checked in the STAHLWILLE DAkkS calibration laboratory. Due to the accreditation of this body by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) in accordance with the DIN EN ISO / IEC 17025:2018 standard, the traceability of the measuring equipment to the national standard in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 9001 standard is guaranteed.
