To ensure our standards are maintained, it is a matter of course for us to obtain the recognised certifications and accreditations. For example, our quality management system is certified according to ISO 9001, our environmental management system according to ISO 14001, and our testing and calibration laboratory according to ISO/IEC 17025.
Quality management – ISO 9001
Our STAHLWILLE sites in Wuppertal and Steinbach-Hallenberg, Germany, as well as our subsidiaries in the UK and the Netherlands are ISO 9001 certified. This consistent quality management is reflected in the high standards of all the relevant processes, from prototype development to production and after-sales service.
Environmental management – ISO 14001
At our main site in Wuppertal, we operate a certified environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001. It provides a systematic framework for defining, implementing, and continuously reviewing environmental objectives and measures.
Energy management – ISO 50001
For our main site in Wuppertal, we have introduced an energy management system in accordance with ISO 50001 with the aim of improving our energy efficiency by 2 percent per year. Here, an energy team initiates energy savings projects and monitors the implementation of the measures.
Testing and calibration laboratory – ISO/IEC 17025
Our calibration laboratory in Wuppertal is accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. This confirms the laboratory's competence in the calibration procedures specified within the scope of accreditation.
